Allows factories licensed in Abu Dhabi to add some service and commercial activities to the industrial licences to support the practice of licensed industrial activities. This aims to:
- Enhance the business environment
- Reduce the operationalcost paid by the industrial establishment, by including service and commercial activities in the industrial licence, without the cost needed to issue a separate commercial licence.
- Making it possible to sell, maintain and install products within a single licence
The commercial and service activities that can be added to the industrial licences are:
1. Importing
2. Exporting
3. Selling the factory products
4. Installing the factory products
5. Designing the factory products
6. Distributing the factory products
7. Transferring the factory products
8. Maintaining the factory products
9. Maintaining the factory equipment
10. Managing and operating factories
11. Consultations, studies and research in natural and engineering sciences
12. Services of onshore and offshore oil and gas fields and facilities
13. E-commerce through websites
14. E-commerce through social media
