Q: What are the requirements to be enrolled in the Golden List?

Answer:

  • A valid ICV certificate score of 40% or above.
  • A valid and in-production Abu Dhabi industrial license.
  • Updated production and product data in DED’s system (IDBbackoffice@ded.abudhabi.ae) .

Q: Where can the Golden List booklet be found?

Answer: You can find the Golden list Booklet on our website ( Golden List Products Dec 2021).

Q: How often is the Golden List updated?

Answer: The Golden List is updated every quarter.

Q: Is it mandatory to choose the products from the Golden List?

Answer: Yes, if the product is available and match the required quality and price. Otherwise, the suppliers is required to provide evidence such as (quotation, email, ..etc)

Q: What if the products I need is not within the Golden List?

Answer: If the products are not in the Golden List, kindly mention the product and its characteristics in the suppliers template (quality, quantity, price, ..etc) and country being imported from.

Q: What are the required reports that needs to be submitted by the companies?

Answer: Suppliers are required to submit the "Suppliers Template " for each governmental tender.

Q: Is it possible to add services instead of products?

Answer: IDB is looking into expanding the project in its 2nd phase to include services in the future, however, 1st phase of the project is for the products only.

Q: Incase of adding new products to the industrial license, will it be added to the Golden List as well?

Answer: The Golden List is being updated quarterly based on the available data in IDB system. Therefore, manufactories are highly recommended to update their production detail within IDB system and ensure they have a valid ICV certificate.To update your production information please contact us on (IDBbackoffice@ded.abudhabi.ae).

Q: What is the maximum number or products to be added to the Golden List?

Answer: There is no maximum number of products to be added. all your products available within IDB system will be automatically added.

Q: Is there a fee to be paid on order to be enrolled in the Golden List?

Answer: Enrolling in the Golden List does not require any payments or fees.

Q: Will the product be removed once the ICV certificate expires?

Answer: Yes, In order to maintain your products in the Golden List, ICV certificate needs to be valid at all times.
