He detailed that 10 licenses of them are for factories currently "under construction" with an investment value of 923 million dirhams and 13 production licenses with an investment value of 1,069 billion dirhams divided into five factories producing medical protection supplies with investments of 268 million dirhams, and four factories for the production of medicines with investments amounting to 467 million dirhams And four factories for the production of medical devices and equipment with investments amounting to 334 million dirhams. "We are looking forward to expansion and increasing investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, to meet the needs of the health sector," he added, pointing out that there are three factories for the production of similar drugs and medical solutions, and other factories are under construction. He emphasized that there is a great opportunity to attract investments and add production lines such as manufacturing biological medicines and vaccines to meet the needs at the local and global levels, and to achieve self-sufficiency. Medical protection supplies The Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, Rashid Abdul Karim Al Balushi, said that 7.86 of the consumption of medical protection supplies comes from single-use clothing and covers, N95 masks, surgical masks, and gloves, while respirators, hospital furniture, and patient monitoring devices are Z95 From consumption of medical equipment.
