His Excellency Humaid bin Butti Al Muhairi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Commercial Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Economy, said that the electronic link initiative between the Ministry of Economy and the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi represents an important step in the framework of enhancing the integration of roles between federal and local authorities to develop the business climate and companies in the country in various vital sectors, including Industrial activities companies.
He pointed out that this initiative allows facilitating the administrative procedures required of companies practicing industrial activities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and raising the efficiency of the service provided to the owners of these companies so that they can complete the licensing procedures in one place and with an automated electronic service.
His Excellency explained that the Ministry of Economy was one of the first bodies that supported the linkage process due to its importance in facilitating the steps required to complete the license, including those related to the publication of official documents and the social responsibility of the private sector, indicating that this initiative would enhance the position of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as an attractive destination for establishing companies and conducting business. In vital areas such as industry, with its system of laws and procedures that are easy and friendly to business owners, as well as its advanced infrastructure and diversified investment incentives, which leads to raising the competitiveness of the UAE and encouraging sectors with added value, in a way that supports the objectives of the UAE Vision.
